Our
Healthcare Environment Survey (HES) makes use of both quantitative and qualitative
data to define the work environment. Quantitative data of the work environment
facilitates the prioritization of organizational initiatives to correct the
identified deficiencies in the work environment as well as used to correlate
with other organizational indicators. Qualitative data promotes assessment of
the dynamic and unique variables of the work environment within the organization.
We
measure the work environment using valid and reliable measurement processes
made for healthcare. Unless the core aspects of the organization, such as the
relationship with the patient, are measured, organizations are spending money
and other resources to address factors that are peripheral to job satisfaction.
